Argus: Price of Russia’s Urals oil falls to $10.54 per barrel

MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) -- The price of Russia’s export oil blend Urals with delivery to Northwest Europe fell to U.S. $10.54 per barrel on Wednesday from $13 per barrel on Monday, setting a new lowest record since March 1999, research agency Argus said in a statement on Thursday.

The Urals price discount to the Brent oil price stayed at $4.75 per barrel for the fourth day in a row, Argus said.

The cost of 80,000-barrel batches of Urals in the Mediterranean region contracted by $2.25 per barrel on Wednesday to $12.79 per barrel, but the discount to the Brent oil price here also stayed at $2.5 per barrel.
